A streak occurs when you clear multiple cards from the tableau without drawing a new card from the stockpile. Completing streaks can reward you with various in-game bonuses, so it's important you learn all about them.
Understanding the Streak Meter
The Streak Meter, located at the top of the screen, tracks your progress towards completing a streak.
Here's how it works:
- Streak Cards Collected: Displays the number of cards you have collected towards the streak.
- Streak Length: Indicates the required number of cards to complete a streak.
- Streak Reward: Shows the reward for completing the streak, which can vary based on the streak length.
- Streak Multiplier: In certain conditions, rewards can be multiplied- you can see it on the Streak Meter.
How to collect cards for a streak
To contribute to a streak, you need to clear cards from the Tableau:
- Counting Cards: Normal cards, each layer of licorice cards, conveyor cards, suit cards, and linked cards.
- Boosted Cards: Cards collected through boosters like UFO, Color Bomb, or Lollipop Hammer also count towards the streak.
Cards that do not count towards a streak
Some cards do not contribute to your streak. These include:
- Lock
- Key
- Plus/+ Cards
- Tableau Joker
- Tableau Color Bomb
- Mystery Candy Card
- Chocolate topping
Ending a streak
The streak ends when you draw a new card from the Stockpile. However, Wild Cards or Color Bombs do not reset the streak but do not add to it either.
Rewards for completing a streak
When you complete a streak, you receive rewards such as Coins and Extra Cards- the exact reward depends on the streak.
Pro Tips
- Wild Cards and other Boosted Cards don't add to the Streak Meter, but they don't break the streak either. So use them to extend your streak!
- Any card removed from the tableau by a Booster is added to the active streak meter.
