Candy Crush Solitaire has many special cards that make the game more fun and exciting with their unique powers. Here’s a quick look at these special cards and what they do:
Suit Cards
Suit Cards can be matched with any card of the same color or another Suit Card. Use them to increase the probability of matching cards—they'll help maintain your streak!
Fish
The Fish can match with any card in the tableau. Use it to maintain streaks and clear difficult cards.
Color Bomb
When uncovered, a Color Bomb Card can be cleared at any point to clear all playable cards. It's great for removing multiple cards at once, especially in complex layouts.
UFO
The UFO targets specific cards in the tableau. It’s quite effective for removing strategic cards that block your progress.
Mystery Candy Card
Uncover the Mystery Candy Card to see what it reveals—it will add various benefits… or challenges!
Strict Color Card
The Strict Color Card can only be cleared with a card of the same color. This card adds some challenge to the level, so be strategic!
Linked Cards
When two Linked Cards are available, clearing one clears the other. Find the best way to remove them effectively!
Strict Linked Cards
When both Strict Linked Cards are on top, collecting one collects the other as well counting toward the streak meter!
Bomb Card
The Bomb Card appears on the tableau with a countdown timer, which decreases with every move. If the timer hits zero before the Bomb Card is cleared, it will disappear and take 3 cards from the stockpile with it!
Flying Card
After being tapped once, the Flying Card flies to a new location on the tableau with a new suit and rank. There, it behaves like a normal card and you can collect it.
Plus Card
The Plus Card adds a set number of cards to the end of the stockpile. When activated, it shows the number of cards to be added, replaces itself, and moves those cards to the stockpile.
Conveyor Up/Down Card
The Conveyor Up Card and Conveyor Down Card are two special cards whose ranks go respectively one up and one down each turn. Except for this, they behave entirely as normal cards.
Coin Card
The Coin Card is only present in Bonus levels. Once a Coin Card is topmost, it transforms into coins that go directly to the Reward bar!
Lock/ Key Card
Locks and Keys come in four matching pairs: purple, blue, green, and red. Each card can be placed face up anywhere in the level. When both are topmost, tapping the Key unlocks and collects the corresponding Lock.
Sticky Hand Card
When cleared, the Sticky Hand Card stretches out to target and clear another card at random on the tableau. If no valid targets are available, it vanishes with an animation.
Shy Card
The Shy Card can only be matched every other turn: when covered by a candy roll, it cannot be collected. The candy roll retracts and covers the card on alternating turns, so be fast and collect it whenever you can!
